Has anyone fitted one of these? I'm thinking of it to upgrade from my Raymarine 435, and as everything else is Raymarine on our boat it's doesn't make sense to move away. We have ST60 instruments and a Raymarine autopilot so the compatibility is important.

Thanks

Ooh yea I have been looking at these, I am sure I read it takes the ST60 instruments but think you need to have the 6002 autopilot head unit which you probably do have but I have an old head unit so will need to upgrade that first. Nice pice of kit though

I've checked and ST60 is fine and my autopilot head is the 6002 model. The new ST70 look good and although replacing my instruments will do nothing for for the way we sail, a new chartplotter would be nice.

Someone must have bought one by now. They were in stock just after SIBS!

Yep got a e7D and am in process of fitting it into an existing Seatalk system (but am updating to a seatalk ng backbone - just trial fitted it but happy with screen etc . Took a bit of digging to get correct wiring for the Standard Horizon 2100E to hook into the
e7D and havent had the ST60+ instruments running through the new st70 pilot head yet but seems straightforward - just all the wiring that's taking the time . The graphics are good and I like the lighthouse screen set-up .
Interface with iphone is ok too, bit small but you can zoom it up. Better with a iPAD im guessing ...
Havent got the AIS working yet - think its either the wiring diag being slightly wrong or more likley the temp hook-up not working proper like...
