Raymarine E7 MFD

Anyone got one of these yet? Info' on the website is useless.
All I want to know is if it will drive an autopilot like normal plotters.
Does anyone know?
Or anyone at SIBS to ask the question?

No detail of any kind though, simply an icon hinting at it.
Too much about the geeky side of it and not enough technical detail. Typical Raymarine website these days!

Yes it will. Easily via STNG and using a converter or conversion capable instrument (ie ST60) via ST1 and 2.
It does all that a 'normal' plotter does ... and a bit more.
For a 7" ... there are not many with internal GPS, Fishfinder (optional) and Radar input ... not to mention bluetooth/wireless, remote operation (on a limited scale via optional remote), the list goes on.
Of course, if that's still too technical ... you may be happy with an A series which also drives an autopilot.

Aye, the website isn't great I have to admit. The E7 is pretty good and ideal for small craft ... or as a second position on a larger one. I'm sure more information will be forthcoming when it eventually gets into the shops ... but that may not be for a few weeks yet (don't ask how I know ... I just do).
