Master unit now flashes about 10 time on start up as if trying to reboot.
This did not happen when new Raymarine 150 GPS and interface initially fitted so think it's a coincidence. Have disconnected GPS and still same on start up.

Upgraded software in 2015 and no probs since then.

Anyone had this problem.

Wondering whether to do a factory reset and a repeat software upgrade.

Any ideas?

A different issue... but mine started the annoying habit of rebooting every 5 minutes.
Cured after some googling, the disk capacity was at 108% for reasons unknown, a factory reset cured it completely.

Been working through problem and discovered it was falling voltage. Traced it to a bad earth supply was 12V when checkled against another earth but only 8V and falling when checked against raymarine earth block.

From earth block ( on French boat) there was a grey wire ( not black!) tohat got dislodged on switch panel and I put it back on likely terminal ( switches have extended pcb's with terminals attached ). I think I put it back on wrong terminal and after going through various capacitors , diodes on pcb it caused resistance and earth circuit got an increased resistance!

Now supply against earth block is up to 12V it's now working OK.

Lesson is if screen keeps flickering suspect falling voltage. Hope that helps someone.

Just done Aldernay to Guernsey and it worked fine showing all rocks in right places!

TOP TIP. Before working on anything take photos on mobile phone to see where cables connect as after the terminals with scratches hinting at being right one may be the wrong one!
