You haven’t done a software upgrade recently have you? And do you have a fast heading sensor?
It may not apply to your particular model but earlier software would allow overlay without a heading sensor but obviously it was not synchronised and was therefore useless, the later software disables the facility unless it senses a heading sensor in the system. Also try the radar solo before switching to plotter and trying the overlay

No, no updates. Not sure if I have a fast heading sensor though thinking about it I took an old monochrome system out so I would very much doubt it.

The overlay was spot on when it was working, clearly showing the pontoons over the chart back at base.

I have put the same question on the Raymarine site but heard nothing back yet......

Sorry mate, thought you were brighter than me, guess you just proved it :)
Must be in the set up tho

No not that bright, I can't even work a damn chart plotter!!!!

Thanks for all the ideas.

Will let you know if/when I find out what the problem is. Of course, it has to happen on the one time a year you feel using Radar would be a good idea.

Sorry we missed you on Saturday.....
