Raymarine c95 and ipad app

Has anyone got a Raymarine C95 or other new style c series and uses it with the ipad app?

If so, can you tell me if the touch screen functions work as if it was an e series, or does it just replicate the c series key structure?

I can't find any illumination on the Raymarine support site, and haven't got the energy to wade through the laborious and slow Raymarine wait, wait, wait help service!

I have a c125 which I connect to using the 'raycontrol' app for my ipad.

When using the ipad it behaves like the touchscreen version of the plotter so you are not limited to using the virtuals keys, although you can use them should you so wish.

Brilliant... thanks.... that just about makes my decision complete to go Raymarine rather than Lowrance.... the Lowrance is a little bit more expensive, but has HD radar, and a slightly better resolution, and I was wavering about which way to go. The Lowrance app is one way only unless you go for the HDS Gen2 touch screen plotter, and that's quite a bit more expensive than I can justify... enough so, that I think the Raymarine digital radar is OK as a compromise, and the resolution is here nor there (they are both pretty good)
