Yes

PaulR is the expert so go with his advice

But for clarity I believe you need the SeaTalkHS / Raynet cable, not the SeatTalkNG type. I believe it is a female to female crossover cable.
Also make sure that both plotters have exactly the same software version installed.

This is what PaulR recommended me when I did this … Interconnecting two Raymarine e-Series MFD plotters

One plotter should be master and one slave. To ensure I didn’t lose any data (waypoints, routes etc) I did a data backup on the original plotter before connecting the second one. Shouldn’t lose any data (and didn’t) but avoids risk of doing something numpty.
I ended up running in unconnected mode (using old chart card), only connected to SeaTalkNG for a while until I had proven the eBay purchase plotter was working properly - good plan as it needed a repair. Only added the RayNet cable later.

A 400mm cable will cost more than the one in post #4
yes i see what you mean, i have seen a new 2mtr genuine one on ebay for under £20 that i might
get and cut it down as i havent got room for a lump of cable coiled up between the two mfd,s
