Raymarine autopilot vs. Simrad chartplotter

Good day, captains,
I have everything from Simrad on my boat, including chart plotter, radar, VHF.
Now I would like to install an autopilot system from Raymarine because its
dealer is much closer to my marina.

My plotter is EVO 3, and the Raymarine autopilot will be EV-100.

Will there be any concern to have Simrad and Raymarine work togeter?
Does anybody have similar experience? Any suggestions before I pull the trigger?

hi peterjaw,
i have simrad chart plotter fitted raymarine ev-150 auto pilot just plug the backbone link cable into the plotter worked straight away just select auto pilot on plotter every thing comes up on screen, i just use the plotter to control the auto pilot all controls mirrored no problems so far .
