Raymarine Autopilot 6002+ with linear drive

I have install new Raymarine 6002+ with linear drive type 1.
After all calibration and checking procedure I have situation that when I put to AUTO pilot turn rudder for approx. 90 deg and continue to working left-right in that new course. I must say that before pushing button AUTO, COG and Head course are in 5 deg difference. Deviation after Swinging is 5 deg. Any suggestions please!

Do you have a GPS on the boat as this model can take a direct signal from the GPS which is a lot more accurate than using the fluxgate compass when calibrating the boats heading to the autopilot heading. page 30 in the commissioning guide.
If its swinging left and right of the new heading it sounds like the rudder gain is too high, see page 36.
Have you tried the Auto learn set up on page 32 in the Seatrial Calibration.

Only at completely slack tide.

We don't have any tide so its never a problem. and if you drive at over 3 knts as per the book during the calibration procedure it won't be much of an issue if you run directly with or against any local tide.

Yes, I have finish all Swinging, align Heading and Auto-learn procedure.
I have contact Raymarine support team and they think that the problem is in wrong wiring ( compass is connected to Smart heading sensor- what is wrong) It was OK with my old ST4000+ pilot.
I shall try to make modifications and hope it will give result.

You can manually adjust this in the setup.

Are you saying that when in AUTO the boat zig-zags (/\/\/\/\/) through 90 deg.

or

when in AUTO and press the +/- button to turn the boat through 90 deg, it turns, then zig-zags on the new course?

If the former, it sounds like interference to the flux gate compass.
If the latter, it is rudder damping, and can be adjusted.

The second. It looks same as I push Auto tack to Starboard. Boat immediately turns for approx. 90 deg and then Pilot works normally ( but in that new course) and then if I push Standby the boat keeps that course and when I push again AUTO it change course for another 90 deg to starboard ...

When you set the system up, did you check that the rudder display is operating in the correct sense, i.e. port helm shows to port on the display and vice versa. If it is going the wrong way then there is your problem, just swap the red and blue wires from the r/ref to correct. redo the dockside settings after and all the seatrial etc.
