Raymarine Autohelm ST7000 control head

I'm sorry, another old electronics question.

The Autohelm ST7000 control head I have has suffered from condensation and is no more. I can't find one anywhere, could anyone please tell me what the next generation on from that would be and would it be possible to just swop like for like?

Take a look on eBay , ST stuff offer come up for sale . I managed to get a course computer last year .

I’ve seen the screens, but I think the unit has gone. I’ll give coastal rides a look, thanks for that.

Strip it, remove any batteries and then soak / wash in isopropyl alcohol and scrub the pcbs gently with an old toothbrush.

Leave it somewhere warm to dry put back any batteries, re-assemble and see if it works.

What harm can this process do - it can't become more broken ?
