Having bought a boat with a through hull Raymarine Apelco 465 Fishfinder I’m really finding it hard to even see the display.
Adjusting the backlight to more or less maximum and the contrast down to get the brightest viewable picture its still a bit of a strain to see, is this a common problem with this machine , am I missing somthing or is it on the way out I wonder? Does anybody know if the display can be upgraded to a better unit without changing the transducer and cabling?
