I need some help in finding the (possible) cause of a ST60+ Graphic display "crashing".
I have one connected via SeaTalk to my ST40 Depth, ST40 Speed and C120 Plotter. The problem is very intermittent, BUT highly annoying. Basically, the fault shows up as a "Check Sum Error" on start up. The display works normally after switching off and on again, but looses all my "user programming"
It has been back to Raymarine under warranty. The fault was confirmed, and a new pcb was fitted. Now, after 1 week of use it has done it again!! Raymarine say they have seen this fault in earlier pcbs and think it might be a compatiblity problem with ST40 units. It is now back under test.
You can help me (and Ray) if you have come across this issue on your set up. If so, what is it connected to? How often does it happen?
