Does anyone know how to program a channel ... in this case Ch37 (M1) ? The radio is on a HANSE so I guess it's a German-spec, where they don't use 37.

I know that the user manual says 'must be programmed by an authorised agent', but I would imagine that it's just a button pushing sequence rather than an EPROM update?

Please PM if you prefer. Thanks,

Vic

M1 and M2 are classed as private channels so they will as Tidewaiter 2 suggests be accessed as such (page 23) if they have been programmed in.

Hi. to program the searanger srv 1200 also known at the stingray 1200 is pretty easy. First of all press the p/s button until you select a memery you want to save the chanel to then press the up or down button until you locate the chanel you want to save to the memory and then just press down and hold the ent button for a few seconds and that is it. press the clr button and go back into p/s and your chaanel will be saved there.

with regards to the batteries for them they are easy to repair when they wear out. for the details of how to do that get in touch as it is a lengthy process but well worth it.
