McCuaig's Bar - In truth this is a no-brainer since it is the only bar on the island and appears to be open 24 hours (or as near as makes no difference) in the season. Not a place for a quiet pint, it is neither clean nor tidy, you can forget no-smoking areas and frankly the toilet is a disgrace, but it is the social centre of the island, there will probably be live music (take an instrument with you or just sing along) and the craic is 110% Irish at it's very best. What more could you want after a 14 hour passage?
Chip Ahoy - Possibly the finest chip van in the known universe and very professionally run (I have never previously seen such an establishment use a temperature probe) by two friendly young ladies, one of whom had personally landed some of the fish on the morning of the day we ate there. Superb!
