So far on our cruise Mylor has stood out, we phoned and booked , then when we arrive there is a sign saying our boats name length and eta. We radioed saying we are on approach , then there was someone to take our ropes . Now that is how to welcome visiting craft.

Princess 67 into St Kats. Service from that marina from the initial booking to the welcome on arrival, help with berthing, electric, moving cleats, all first class. Met the marina manager and said how pleased we'd been. A great experience. Not my boat (obvs) so no skin in that game.

In each of the past two autumns we have sailed back from France - L’Aber Wrac’h and Paimpol - first stop Salcombe, arriving after normal capitainerie hours. On each occasion, without any contact from us, one of the harbour people had seen us on AIS when we were way off, assumed we were heading their way, and waited behind to give us a hand, last year deep into the gloaming. An extreme example of always fantastic service.
