I have bought several service kits for the heads over the years but until now I didn't know there was a difference between the pre and post 1992 models. The service kits I had been buying had been for pre 1992. Until recently this didn't matter but I finally needed a part that was only in the service kit for the newer model.
I contacted Raritan in the States who sent me several of the parts I needed FOC. Great service so worth a mention.

The do give great service...it's one of the reasons I like Raritan products (the other being the quality for the price). But I do think they made a mistake in not renaming the PH II when they redesigned it in '92, 'cuz 99% of owners don't know that the PH II made after August of '92 needs a different kit from the one for those made after that date.

Fwiw, the pre-Aug 92 version needs kit PHRKII...the post-Aug 92 needs kit PHRKIIC. And the original PH II (pre-1981) needs kit PHRK. If yours is old enough to be either a PH or a PH II, but you don't know which...the dry/flush knob on the original PH is metal...plastic on the PH II.

Btw...you're only replacing parts in the kit one or two at a time? That's doing it the hard way...opening up the pump far more often than you need to. A complete kit every 5 years should keep a PH II working just fine for at least 20 years, if not longer.
