Anyone know if it's still possible to find major spares for an old Raritan Compact? It's the old one with the black knob, not the Compact II with the T-handle. I'd like a replacement for the main horizontal waste collector/pipe thingy that the floor, the porcelain bowl and the pump assembly are all bolted to (no idea what it's called!), as well as a pump service kit with all new rubbery bits.

Thanks for the US website link, I'll contact them if no joy here in the UK. Differences are mainly to the pump assembly I think as the inlet valve has moved to the rear on new ones - but not exactly sure. The bits I need may all be carried over, but I doubt if I'll be that fortunate!

HI

I had to replace a the pump assembly on one of these last year.

Andy Seedhouse in Woodbridge (You can Google it) had quite a few old ones, and lots of bits. I paid a fiver for it.

However be warned the plastic on these tends to get brittle as they get older. I cracked the base of the pump body when re assembling. You have to remember to tighten in cross sequence as you would when tighteneing a cylinder head on an engine.

No doubt you will be aware that you can source new replacement toilets for about £70
