Hi,
If the cheque goes through, if the insurance is oked, if I can sort out my flights. I hope to bring the new to me boat from Ramsgate to Southampton. Depending upon getting a crew could to a 24hr trip or break it in to two; Ramsgate to Brighton to Southampton.
Leave at 8.30 from Ramsgate to Brighton by 23.00ish Sat 9th July (this weekend).
Depart Brighton 04.00 to be at Southampton by lunch.
An older GRP boat will probably be motoring most of the way. I have not taken it for a trip yet but have run the engine under load on the mooring and been through it thoroughly. New flares will be on board with epirb and a year out of service date liferaft.
No costs and could provide a bit towards rail fare, would help me out and hope it might be a useful mile builder for someone. Choppy to start with but getting flatter.
