Rampart 45\'

We have launched a campaign to restore the Dunkirk Little ship 'Rania' for the Dunkirk Little Ship Trust, (a registered charity). She is a Rampart 45' and a basket case. You can see the restoration photos at www.rania.co.uk.

If anybody has any documents or photos relating to Rampart 45's (or 47 - 48's) it would be a great help as we have little documentation. If anybody has any details of her war service '39-'45 even better!.

There is a Rampart owners club which boasts the grandson of the founder of the company as one of its members. The club would be able to furnish you with the original build information that you require.
They have helped me in this way although I am not yet a member. My boat is a 32' example built in 1935 and thanks to Chris Chamberlain of the ROC I now have all of her history up to 1980.
Having said that I do not have the contact details and would appeal to anyone that does have them to let us all know.

Hi

We also have a Rampart 32 here in Ireland. I'd be very interested in seeing some photos of yours, especially the windows as I am planning to change mine. Ours was built in 1969. Is yours Molly B as there is one in the last ROC newsletter built 1935 and called that.

Hi Joe,

The Email is support@rania.co.uk. I found the ROC details in a magazine and have contacted them & ordered a boot from them about Ramparts.


Do you know of an Irish Registered Rampart 38 named 'Sarazzin'. I believe she is up for sale.
