Rain radar websites

We are expecting thunder storms later tonight into tomorrow morning.

I could do with it being all over ASAP for work reasons, so I thought I would look for a radar website.

Google brings up a few - are there any favourites ?

I have quite a few listed on my weather portal, forecast.io is probably a favourite and rain alarm app seems to get it right, it's available for android and iOS users.

My favourite too. So much so, I used it so much, that I paid for the pro version, which shows by colour if the precipitation is rain, snow etc, and gives forecast radar conditions which while not entirely accurate, does make long distance driving when conditions are not ideal, a bit more predictable.

High resolution short term Forecast Radar.

Lower resolution forecast radar for a few days ahead.

Easy URL to remember.

Low resolution mobile site for android etc (Though I prefer to use the primary site on my phone)

I have WeatherPro on my phone, which loads well and moves with your location. Turn the screen on its side and you get useful ( for a phone) wider picture of incoming...

For the price of a rain tracking program I bet you could buy a decent sized golfing brolly then you wouldn't need to worry about rain. Anyway what's a rufty tufty sailor like you doing worrying about getting a bit wet?

It depends where you are.

I like this one http://www.newquayweather.com/wxradar.php as it focuses on the south west as well as giving a national view.

I use it quite a bit to warn my g/f when to get the laundry off the washing line if its showery. Usually accurate to within 5 minutes.
