Hands up, who keeps a separate radio logbook?
Looking at the Logbook Templates postings I would hazard a guess at not many.
I just put a comment in my ‘Nav Log’.

I once made an entry in the boats log on hearing a mayday but beyond that I've always thought a radio log to be something more to do with commercial or military shipping, not leisure use. Rightly or wrongly!

Probably a bit of both. Maybe someone will enlighten me , but I thought you were meant to keep one , but to me it's a throwback to commercial shipping and it's not something I do.

You are legally bound to keep a radio log on a registered vessel, with licence, above that I don't know!

In the "Terms Booklet" sent by the RA with the annual Ship Radio Licence there is no reference to a need for keeping a logbook.
