Hi,
I need to pull a Raymarine Raynet cable through my Seden mast for a new Radar Radome.
I suspect the connector is fatter than the conduit in my mast. I believe its 17mm on the narrow face of conduit (my mast is a non-furling on a Elan Impression 434 - 43ft - not sure exactly which model mast) and I believe the Raynet connectos is 18mm outside diameter
So I'm going to need to cut of the Raynet connector. Then either reconnect the cut off connector, or also cut off the other side of the Raynet cable coming to meet it (thus removing the two female Raynet connectors and the male-male adapter needed).
I've posted in the Raymarine support forum too for the official advice... but.... Does anyone have any experience pulling these new cables into masts with conduits or cutting the Raynet connectors off and rejoining or similar?
All advice welcome!
Thanks,
Charlie
