If anyone here has bought the USB based AIS from Radar Gadgets in the last 6 weeks and hasn't received it, the reason is now clear.
I had a phone call from the sister of Andy Thorne last night. He died after a very short illness on the 2nd of July. He was only 45, he'd stared getting bad headaches docs thought it was blood pressure. He died 2 weeks later.
We'd sold his AIS units through VisitMyHarbour website, and were getting concerned by reports of non delivery from end customers... we'd been unable to contact him and were worried.
Andy was straight up and honest, his product and after sales were 1st class.
His mother and sister are trying to do something about his website. They have only just got his phone, and responded to my enquiries.
If anyone has bought and not received the AIS unit, I suggest getting a refund via PayPal straight away. Please spread the word.
