Radar Flush Mounting Kit

Toying with the idea of fitting radar display in the cockpit bulkhead. Does anyone know if there is a flush mounting kit instead of cutting large hole in the bulkhead. Thanks

Flush mounting displays usually involves cutting a hole.

You might be better off looking for a stand off bracket, which many displays will come with as standard?

You could use a NavPod screwed on to the bulkhead, and this would give a fairly tidy solution. But before you decide on anything, check that the display is viewable in its intended position - many LCD displays are quite sensitive to viewing angle.

One way is make a shallow box the thickness of the unit, then mount the radar into the box using the standard bulhead mounting, All you then need to do it screw the box to the bulkhead. very cheap if you can obtain a few bits if suitable timber
