Radar/Chart Plotter .. its all new to me

anyone know where i might get some instruction on using a Radar/Charplotter.. never used one before and wondered if there is anyone doing some sensibly priced instruction or somthing of that nature... based in London with boat on Hamble... thanks for reading.. G

Hi and welcome to the forum. Following a request by Raymarine, we ran teaching sessions at both the Earls Court Boat Show and at London on the practical use of plotters. As a result, we had requests to run a longer course. We are introducing a one day on-water course using the C series plotter - works the same way as E series and in fact the same principles apply to all plotters. PM me for me details.This is not an RYA course by the way although we do offer the one day RYA radar course as well if required.

We are based on the Hamble.We could also run the course on your own boat if that suited.

Try these folks. My wife and I did our ICC and VHF training with them when we bought our boat. Very good instruction and tailored to us rather than just following the standard patter.
