You know how it is. Not a breath of wind and being carried past the bouy on the tide, simple choice we either try to anchor in 20m of water and 3 knots of tide or we retire and go for a beer in Yarmouth. No contest. But before you get a chance to take the class flag down and put the ensign back up somebody starts taking photos of you:

Then ten minutes later the wind fills in from nowhere and you're sailing again but the halyards, outhall, backstay, etc. all need tightening at once and he's still there with his camera:

Thanks for the pictures Les. I owe you a beer.

Would not dropping the traveler a bit have brought you a bit more upright?

Great photo, Dave. Evidently, even Pompey supporters know how to have fun sometimes. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

That's not heeling you should have seen her with the old genoa! We need more wind than that before we drop the traveller and I have to get the main flatter too or it backwinds too much. But when I get approval to buy a new main......

Your jock strap looks like it could be eased a little, to take the creases out of your bowsprit!

It was a simple choice: More supportive underwear or a more powerful winch on the coachroof. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I didn't get the winch:-

No problem fitting them to ours but the buckles are very close to the red inflation toggle and on one memorable occasion ......
