Actually had a go in one when they were launched in the mid 70's - seemed ok - great for a motor sailer - but that genoa is big. Nice though, & a bit different. Ho hum.

I suspect the corollary is also true, hence the apparent "bargain". Big genoa overlaps were popular for a while. I seem to remember a number of catamaran designs with tiny "mainsails" at the same period.
