Quiet on the river yesterday!

took a walk from marlow to temple lock and back again yesterday, with the in-laws who were over, as we wanted to show them were we would be cruising in our first boat when we get it - only saw 1 Broom!

We went out on Saturday - at noon we were only the second boat through Bell Weir that day! It was a fun cruise with much time spent dodging floatsam and jetsam. And my first encounter with a strong current too.

Only saw one other boat all the time we were out.

Up at Sunbury yesterday, taking the canopy off for some repairs and reproofing. Stream was pretty fast but the weather was lovely, really regret not having gone down to Hampton and back as it was so fine.

We went down to Kew for lunch nice weather had a good look at the new PLA launch very quiet tho only saw a few boats mostly Narrow boats coming through Brentford

Brentford Marina well must ask does anyone there ever venture out or do they all just stay in the bar there ?
