Quiet here isn\'t it - so here is another

Aficionado's of the classic non fiction sea stories will have likely read Dana's "Two Years Before the Mast". A while back I came across another "The Cruise of the Cachalot" by Frank Bullen.

Is a recount of his whaling voyage and which I found a far more interesting book than "Two Years..." which is not too bad a read itself. Is easy to read and seems is factual (part is set here in southern NZ and that all fits real events and places). Is available in ebook (free on Project Gutenburg and Blackmask) and in real paper new and second hand.

Would be interested in any feedback and others comments.

Also worth reading the works of Alan Villiers, in particular "The cruise of the Conrad" (?I think?) about a groupof cadets sailing round the world in a Tall Ship.
