Its dark damp miserable and cold and I have just booked flights to get out of here over xmas.Boat looked all lonely and unloved when I drove past it on way home from work.

Just hold tight dear it will not be so rough when we get round the corner,trust me.
 
Absolutely.

Airlines must be having bumperday 'cos I went and booked Xmas getaway to France as well today. Funny , getting a boat seems more important now that when the sun is out..

Only boats I see on way home sit , tethered to the bank of Ol Ma Thames and are floating (just) restaurants

Reminder- go drinking in St kats tomorrow nite.

We are off to La gomera for christmas week(just off coast of tenerife).Now got to find some accomodation + hire car etc.Cheapest place to go for bit of good weather and will spend 25th on beach etc.Last year we amazed to see small german cabin cruiser in harbour.Certainly puts all my trips into perspective.

Just hold tight dear it will not be so rough when we get round the corner,trust me.
 
I thought that this morning all back to normal in England now, dark wet cold miserable plus the yearly
deluge of leaves from the trees around my house has started. Endless fruitless clearing of gutters & lawns
only to return to the same by next day.

Reminds me must book flights to Spain for Xmas in the villa, get away from this shite

hotels and cars pretty good on our site ... but do shop around..

Helloo Clive Not a lot of real cheapies around.Have just paid 229 for flights to Tenerife.
Hows the boat.
Was supposed to help bring Gran banks round from Gill marina to Chat marina in morning but cancelled due to wind etc.

Drinking in St Kats? Where? Yotties unwelcome in the Y.C. anyway who can afford a mixer at £2 each? Bang Bar not too bad 'cept for the crummy music. Dickens Inn - yuch! The pub over near Safeways, bit tinny. So its a long walk to anywhere offering a jar... unless Syd's boat is in there /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Quiet around here today until you turned up..

I don't care about the cost of the booze. Just sitting in work trying to finish off my e-mail listening to wind and rain. Decided I wanted to go see boats ...simple.

Then drink in warmth...alternative would be to go home and watch Crappus Anglicus Beckamus in the gladitorial arena....so I'm going down st Kats !

Naa spoke to owner.From Med followed African coast and then turned right.
Some journey.One or to raggies in harbour(vueltas) who use island as stopping point before on to carribean.But first ever time seen any titchy cruisers Prob around 35ft if memory serves right.

Mind you the way my Yachtmaster course is going, I must have done his passage plan he should just have been entering the Black Sea on the Rhine ...

i would have gone just for fun but owner is worried about all filthy rich type owners in marina suing the bottom off him in he scratches any of the pride n joys moored within....................
