quicksilver 3000 single lever engine control with trim control button

has anybody experienced any problem with these control levers as a collegue of mine is experiencing a problem with his having difficulty when going from reverse to forward it seems to stick. Is there an inherrant problem with this bit of kit and what is the solution! are they simple to strip down and what to look for might help with our sorting it! Thanks in anticipation

reasonably sure that's the one I have.

may even have a manual for it somewhere if it would help

however I would suspect the engine/gearbox before the control.

I will check this weekend if that's the one I have.......pm me next week if I haven't come back to you!
