Quick spin to pier

Managed to get out of the marina today in boat, first time in a few weeks with this relentless sw wind . We did a couple of fly pasts of the Palace pier Brighton , surfed a few rollers and entertained the punters on the pier. Hoping to see us come unstuck , anyway we didn't dissapoint we took on tons of water over the flybridge wipers packed up . soaked to the skin , all fixtures and fittings in a pile going from one corner to another . Pot pouri everywhere and empty bottles rattling around .
Anyway we blew a few cobwebs out, good to be on the water again . Surfed back into marina . Quick rub down and then back to the casino for a few large Brandies , mission acomplished.
