No nowt to do with a motorcycling queen!

My Mrs. has just sent me piccies of my new anchor winch!! Regal 2000, without drum, boy does it look the dogs danglies!! and she says it's bloody heavy, had to get two strong lads who just happened to be there??? to get it on board! Cant wait to get home and fondle it, all chromed bronze and polished 316 stainless, effin big motor on it as well, 2kw 24v, a big bogger!
Now just got to buy 90m of 1/2" chain and make mounting plate, stopper etc etc etc. I'll post piccies once I've built it all in! But dont hold the presses, it's way down the refit priority list!

Thats the beast!! Onboard now and she says it's very shiny and looks very well built! Not that expensive either! About 2500 euros, which isn't bad for what it is.

Yup, I've not checked prices for years now, but I guess it's worth the money.
Why didn't you consider an horizontal version, like the one below?
I would have expected it to be the version of choice, for a boat like yours...
Besides, it has the free anchor release, which I found very handy in some occasions.
