Would the forum police, you know who you are! Please tell me what are now acceptable questions on Scuttlebut.

Nothing questioning any professional sailors abilities...that is now a given

Nothing on col regs

Nothing questioning the sea keeping abilities of any yacht, including lilo's

Nothing, that is a different view to 'the silent majority' ... er

Please help, otherwise we will have to answer Powerskippers posts on how many pints of milk does your fridge hold? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

From the reactions in a concurrent thread I think that one of the rules must be Thou shalt not question anything or anyone where those of the contrary view can claim the support of the "silent majority".

How one gets to know what the view of the "silent majority" is I have yet to work out. Obviously something beyond the intuitive powers of cats and dogs it seems. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

I don't have a fridge. Can you still get the old ones that hold milk in pints or do you have to buy the new carton compatible type?. If I buy an old one will I have problems when it comes to the survey ?

for MCA coding you need a sign to say dont leave the bottle/carton on the side during rough weather, for definition of rough weather see apendix 7.4. You should have installed several pumps oin the bilges to remove the milky oily liquid.

Never trust Majority opinion.
George Bush was voted in on a "Majority"
The definition of a "Silent Majority" is..... That section of the great unwashed that lack the wit, or understanding to contribute constructively to discussion on any subject of importance but are instinctively opposed to any utterances from the minority who have anything interesting to say......
Best summed up by Abraham Lincoln " The majority are always wrong"......

< please help otherwise we will have to answer Powerskippers posts on how many bottles of milk your fridge holds.>

Now that is one seriously disallowed statement.
It is ;-
1)erroneous
2) sexist
3) not related to boats or even NB subjects

Still, it is Monday morning, and you probably haven't got over your weekend shenanigans yet. Julie might forgive you. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

[/ QUOTE ]Don't know about Powerskipper's fridge but my main fridge holds a slab and a half of beer (36 cans) with another 8 cans in the door, now add to that the "waeco" which holds 17 bottles of wine or 15 bottles and 4 cans of beer. Then there is the "emergency" supply held in the 12v coolbox which holds a slab of beer and 5 or 6 bottles of plonk.
Milk? - Me? I keep the milk in a tin....... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I have to point out I am quite shocked in the direction this topic has taken, it seems to be one that Julie herself would be proud of /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I was kinda wondering how this thread got from forum police to Julie and then to frigid?

As I have never met any of you perhaps someone could enlighten me /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.
