I have RYA DS (sail), ICC, BSAC RIB handling ticket and completed a boat handling module on my HSE commercial diving course (shaft drive work boat and RIB)
Is it worth doing my RYA PB2 course, or should I have covered most of it in the above?

Thanks

The DS sail will have covered more than the PB2 does on navigation.
mite be worth you doing the intermediate PB, have a chat with a school they should be able to give you the advice you need, I am not sure whats included in the "BSAC RIB handling ticket and completed a boat handling module on my HSE commercial diving course (shaft drive work boat and RIB)" so can't tell you but I teach the PB1/2 courses.

You will have covered it all! However it depends how often you actually drive ribs/sportsboats. If you have done a lot of time while diving I suggest that you consider the Advanced Powerboat course. You say you have sail Day Skipper - I guess you mean the practical - in which case you have enough theory knowledge to go straight to the Advanced PB course. you could do a PB2 assessment to qualify. Which can be done in half a day. No instruction involved, just a series of on water test and some basic theory - tides, buoyage etc.

You don't say what it is you want to do with the ticket - more info would be helpful, to be more precise. Do you want to commercially endorse the ticket? PB 2 can be endorsed but is limited to 3 miles from a designated port and in good weather, slightly more scope in the Solent. The Advanced PB course is more useful but you will need to be examined as well. You will need a recognised 1st Aid qualification and the VHF operators certificate, but again I guess you have that given your BSAC qualifications. You will need to add the sea survival course to be commercial endorsed as well.
