Seeing that the Queenbourgh ATL is still out of action. Anybody know someware in the medway area ware I can pick someone up from.Someware near a railway station would be ideal.
They could always get into your dinghy off the old slipway at Q'boro and cover you and your boat in mud.
Gillingham marina? Don't where it is in relation to the station.
I'm on the other side of the Thames where it is hopeless unless you are shallow draught and come in at Bell Wharf, Leigh-on-Sea near the top of the tide. That's near the station.
Sun Pier in Chatham, just down from the Command House Pub. About 10/15 minutes from Chatham Station. Not a place to leave your boat unattended. But it is all tide and easy on and off.
Some of the repairs already completed. Latest news from the group that manage it is that Medway Ports are going to do the final part of the repair but as they will be doing at 'cost' it will be fitted in when they can.
If this was a French town it would all have been fixed months ago, paid for by the local council.

If this was a FRench town, the whole cheap and shaby area would be flattened and rebuild as a proper marina resort. And better it would be ;-)
Yuk!! Not all of us like marinas. Yes the ATL is great and good to hear that it's being repaired. Queenborough has a lovely charm...if you want a posh marina then Chatham up river isn't that far.
