In this in between time for boating, we decided to go for a drive and find somewhere to have lunch, we ended up in Queenborough, now although the Isle of Sheppy may not be the most classy of places to visit Queenborough is ok, and whats more the Flying Dutchman in the High Street does a wicked Carvery Lunch (Lamb, Pork and Beef....or all 3) at the weekends for £7.95 or £10.95 with dessert (if you can manage it). I would advise to book or arrive early as it is very popular.
Would be nice to hear other suggestions for places to visit and eat......not that I like my food of course /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Even nicer (in my opinion) is the new clubhouse at Swale Marina at Conyer Creek on the Swale. Sunday lunch, usually only one choice of meat, but delicious, not boil in the bag as I have sometimes found elsewhere. Open to non members, and a beautiful location. Go to Teynham near Sittingbourne, follow the signs to Conyer , the turning is just past the station.
