"Mater dearest. Would one like to come rind to the registry orffice to see one's orffspring become jined in Holy matrimony - well nearly"

"One must be kidding. Sod orf"

"Oh Ok Mum - see yer fer the shindig after then; back at our gaff"

No. It's not a snub.

What Mother on good terms with her children would miss this. Surely, wild horses couldn't stop them.

good riddance to old bat

her hit rate is fairly rubbish tho innit? Four kids, three busted marriages. I think inviting the queen is a sure way to get off on the wrong foot. PLUS her parties always sound a bit rubbish: they invite 8,000 people to the palace garden parties and the parties "are reputed to cost as much as £30,000" which is £2.50 each, or one curly sarnie and a glass of lemonade.

Blank title \'cos I can\'t think of one

No, No, peeps; it's more a matter of HMQ not wanting to see a whole forest of peeps popping up when the registrar says "any just cause or impediment...."

I heard that she couldn't go to the official wedding because she would be at home doing the sandwiches...
