We booked for this weekend in St Kats almost a year ago, but have yet to see confirmed mooring costs.

I know the fuel is around £100, and the eating out frightful, but I have yet to see confirmed costs for the mooring :confused:

Email sent, will report back as soon as a response is received, unless anybody else knows yet! :)

I'm banking on £450 with fuel, locking charges, moorings and a few nights out....:(

Hope it isn't far worse, looking at some of the Hotel rates for the Olympic dates :eek::eek::eek:
 
= normal rates. They have a bit of a tendency to 'modulate' their prices around special events. Have a friend moored there permanently with a Sealine F43 - she's been asked to stump up a whoppoing £3k for six weeks over the olympics.

She's coming up river for six weeks instead....

See your point...Appreciate that they would like to apply a premium over that period but not knowing the actual amount is a bit "interesting".
Still if its silly you can always tell em to stuff it !
 
They have our booking too and they have not notified a different charging scheme. So I personally have no intention of paying a premium - £4.50 per metre per night, plus another £4.50 per night leccie, means it's not exactly cheap as it stands. Well that's the plan, anyway. I'm not going to ask them to confirm an increased price, and I know they have already been asked at least twice by another club member. I agree, a bit of a concern though...
 
There's no mention of any different price structure on their website, and I booked my mooring months ago. Thus, I think I have a good case to pay the advertised rate. If they decide to change it. Which, in fairness they have not alluded to... (yet)

We are in as well and I see no reason to check prices , I booked last April and unless they have changed their pricing structure thats what we should be paying
 
The published rates will be over a year old.

Luckily I'm not thick enough not to have seen the published rates from last year :rolleyes: but wondering what, if anything, they will do to us for that time period....

A big round of applause for St Katharines Yacht Haven aka St Kats, who are keeping mooring fees during the Jubilee at standard rates!

Thats £4.50 per metre per day.

While these are subject to change, the rates will be as per the normal ones.

Good for them,now remember that 1-99 of the forum flag rulz quite specifically state..

Any vessel of what ever size or shape,wether fenders are up or down(or neither)shall on request open their drinks locker to any other forumite who my just happen to be in the vicinity of said craft and who may reasonably believe that said craft has on board(or may have had on board at any time in the 99 years) a forum flag.
Hiding the flag in a locker/bilges or quickly throwing it over the side does not for the purposes of these rulz negate anything what so ever expressed above and may well result in the forumite requesting the right to an alcoholic beverage* ringing all his forumite mates to join him on aforementioned vessel.
* Alcoholic beverage definition.
A quantity of liquid sufficiant to satisfy a thirsty forumite with actual proper alcohol innit and not some mincing creme de menthe muck from a bottle that has been lurking in the back of the drinks locker since you bought the boat.
Ps.Any visiting boater has the absolute right to refuse your kind offer of gving him a chance to help you clean your boat in return for giving him a drink.

Should I feel pangs of nakedness due to my unwittingly not being in possesion of such a flag or burgee?? and if so, how might one lay hands on such a thing and does it involve the parting of much cash I ask ??
