I am asking this question in all conscience to everybody and would appreciate your answers are made likewise. All opinion is valuable, whatever that may be!

Picture the scene. You and your crew are in a 'safe' UK marina berth. The crew have decide that they are tired but with the exception of first mate, all retire and go to 'noddy land'. You decide, with the first mate to stay awake a bit longer and watch a favourite video. It is a horrible night, you would not want to be out at sea. It's blowing 5-7, sleeting, and bitterly cold.

Everything seems just cosy and you have 'settled' for the night.

Suddenly there is an almighty roar within your ship. Everything around you shudders violently, loose materials are thrown sideways. Lots of banging and clumping eminates from beneath your vessel and KABOOM, one last deafening bang! At least one crew member is thrown from their bunk. You realize that when you try to stand up, you doorways are well leaning over! Further investigations amid your very frightened crew, reveal the sickening truth. YOUR pride and joy has stopped 'floating' AND fallen very hard over to one side.

Now, what would YOU do?

Apart from telling the submarine to go away!!!!!

Check everybody is OK and that the boat is not btaking water then go topsides suitably dressed to see what damage / entanglements masts etc, fender where possible and then check the tidetables and prepare for refloat, perhaps find somewhere more comfortable for the crew but stay on board with one other to tend the boat.

I'd rush upstairs open the cockpit locker and find a tin of vaseline, then I'd get the boat hook & find the b####r who'd pulled out the plug .... why the vaseline I hear you ask ...

Re: Stating the obvious, aren\'t you being repetitive?

Oh dear just looked at the other forum and you are right Charles he is very repetitive, perhaps one of those friendly moderators might like to combine them.
