OK, I have to say i don't like the idea of quad bikes because they seem pretty dangerous, and I feel similar feelings towards Jet Skis (though I do fancy a go on one), however after watching this video just now, I'm thinking to myself, "Where do i sign up for a test drive?" /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

What do you think?

Looks like the same Gibbs technology as was used in the Aquada. Gives me a shamless excuse to post this piccy again /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Yup, owned by Gibbs who also do the 'Humdinga' which is basically a Humvee that travels on water /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Nice pic, I have a poster of the Aquada on my wall, not sure why but would love to find out what it feels like to drive compared to a boat /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The quadski, like the aquada, has a wide flat hull, which I'd imagine would be very uncomfortable in choppy conditions, which is presumably why the video on flat water.

Great video but it reminds me of most car commercials, you know, where there's never any sign of traffic, just a lonely polished car on the mountain roads. The guy even had the bikini clad girl standing by. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

It did look like a lot of fun but I think Brendan was right though, it is probably a compromise between a quad and a 'ski. But Hey, what a fun tender?

Sorry to be a damper. I doubt whether it would handle like a jetski on choppy water or waves due to its flat bottom and if it had any real 'v' it would become top heavy on land as it would need to be raised for ground clearance.

Looks like an expensive toy! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif Hmmm... (thinks... garage or davits?)
