qsd error code 554

Hi I have a 2008 QSD 2.0L ES 130 HP diesel inboard fitted with the smartcraft system
When it was returned to the water today I am getting a check engine error code 554 any idea what it means

The SmartCraft code translates to

554 Fuel Pressure InRange Error

Fuel Rail Pressure Data Invalid.
The ECM has detected that fuel rail pressure is not responding to fuel flow correctly

Provided your fuel filter and lines are ok and you have no leaks, one would start by checking all connections. Clean and protect with some wonderspray (not just WD-40).
