QL bowthruster

My b/t comes on without warning. The first time was when i was asleep over the top !! Have checked out the connections to no avail. Why the circuit board? Anyone help? Dave

This happened on a friends F33 moored next to us, middle of the night and the bow thruster suddenly turned itself on! We traced the problem to the contactor mounted next to the motor, the platic pin which holds the moving contacts had snapped. Replaced all contacts springs insulators (service kit) and all was well.

Had a similar thing happen to us this summer. Nasty way to be woken up in the middle of the night We replaced the circuit board and all has been well since.

water/ damp on the conections, ive had this, dried it out and now fine...
