PVC INFLATABLE STICKINESS CURE

Hi guys , in the past to remove the stickiness due to uv attack on pvc dinghies iv invested in "Gummo Strip" from force4 which did exactly what it said on the bottle and not only remove dirt and grim but also the stickiness. Like a lot of products lately the product doesn't seem to be so " gutsy " and doesn't remove the stickiness . can anyone recommend another off the shelf of a tried and tested product that does the job ? I recently read a recommendation for Baking Soda (post 5) though I haven't tried it myself.

hate to say it but buy a new dinghy and a cover for it if it is exposed to the sun all the time
