Can anybody reccomend a good PVC cleaner ?

My tender usually sits on the swim-platform, and gets covered in soot from my VP TAMD 63s (known for a bit of smoke).

The dinghy started out as white , but now its really grubby,

Ive tried Flash power clean & my hot pressure washer (carefully), but this hasn't touched it.

I am reluctant to spend my hard earned, down the chandlers unless I know, its going to work.

Advice welcome please.

Dirty Dingy

The best product to use on a dingy is Ribshine its sold in chandlers about £8.00 per bottle and will bring your dingy up as new

1 .Get a Magic Sponge - Cost £0.50

2. Take 2 mins to clean it

3. Go down pub.

You all think I am joking. I ended up cleaning all the white chalk of our boat with them, very very easily and then a quick polish.

On a tender it will make it shine in seconds. Jif wont touch it, but a magic sponge will.

we use jiff or siff as i believe it's now called, white avon came up like new, what do you think of your f43.

Thanks for the post.
I love my F43, don't know why they stopped making them, Ive not seen accommodation like it on any sub 45 footer.
Are you happy with yours?

Rib Revive from ribshop.co.uk with a scouring pad is the best rib cleaner ive ever seen! Finish it off with some rib UV protector. They sell a pack with a tube of UV protector and a bottle of cleaner! You will be amazed at the result!

Thanks for posts guys.
I went for the Rib shine & magic sponge, using both together gave the best results.
Its now very white, 99% of the marks came off.
Just got to get some protector to make it easier to clean next time.
Thanks once again.

Magic Sponge can be bought from eBay.

Worth buying a box of them as we now use them for cleaning Hull of Boat, Bathroom at home and boat, Marks off car paintwork, Windows (Any).

They do wear out and disintegrate, so buy a few.

Used about 4 to clean fibreglass of our 36ft Sealine. Then finished with a quick coat of marine polish, job done.

PVC cleaner is acetone acetate, that same product is used for nail polish removers. It's design is intended to prepare the PVC surfaces for softening/bonding of the pipe and fittings.
So many companies are offering PVC cleaners... Why do not you try at Renwoods , which is the best in providing facilities for toilet discaler...??
Hope it would serve you the purpose.
