Public pontoons in portsmouth

Well just a bit of wiring to do on the boat the she is ready for sailing but is there any public pontoons other than the hardway I can sail to I don't mind paying but won't be there long as I just want to test the boat I would like to have a destination point to sail to mabe have a meal at a pub then back to my moorings at hardway if not I ques I will just do a round trip it would just be nice to go somewhere

Not public but how about a "short stay" at one of the marinas. Depends perhaps if you want to pay as much as that will cost. £9 for 3 hour max at Haslar for example
 
Well, with a mid day high tide, sail down to Portchester SC and moor up on the pier. Weekends there should be food and drink in the club. So far as I know there won't be any charge and I'm certain you'll be made welcome..
 
Not a pontoon but the Camber in Old Portsmouth with several eateries nearby with The Bridge Tavern being right next to the quay.
