On my hot water system I currently have a bottle at the end of my PRV but was thinking to feed it overboard with a skin fitting
The tank is quite low in the boat
Does anyone have any idea how far above system water level I could install the skin fitting without causing a problem with the PRV

I would be inclined to plumb in an expansion vessel.

A better "engineering" solution, no new holes in boat and no chance of PRV jamming open with dirt after venting.

+1 .. Why plumb in pipes and drill holes in the boat to solve a problem caused by poor installation? If thermal expansion causes the PRV
to lift then absorb the expansion with an accumulator which saves wearing out the PRV seats.! PRV lasts longer and no wet spots.
