Over on the Cruisers & Sailing Forum there has been questions about if a Prout owners association exists any longer??? I don't know....
There was also talk of forming one - I would be willing to host one on my web site FOC if others thought it was a good idea but do not want to muscle in if someone else wants to do it.
If other Prout owners are interested then post here your thoughts please...

Hi Michael! hope you are enjoying your boat. The answer to your question is that there used to be a thriving association actually run by prouts publicity department with a quarterly magazine and everything but it died shortly before the demise of Prouts. I always find owners very interested to talk to one another, and am sure that it only requires someone interested like yourself to start it off again.
 
We've just boiht a Prout Quest 31 (Starquest). It's cliame dit was Rowland Prout's boat.

We'd be keen to support a Prout Owners Association and hear from other Quest owners.

Done a couple of hours work on it... would really like some feed back and of course unless people join in and contribute it will just fade away - which is a pity because I think it is useful to exchange ideas and information.

Have a look - register if you want then if you think I should change - add whatever please let me know... The big problem is I am not very computer literate - I can do pretty simple things but more advanced web site stuff is beyond me..

Michael. The resurrection of the Prout Owners Association is long overdue. It was very well supported in the past, over many years, as mentioned owners were always very enthusiastic to talk to each other and pass on advice.

Once the ball starts rolling, think / hope many Prout owners will give you support.

Have you been in touch with Rob Underwood (ex-Prout) at Broadblue? He probably knows as much about Prouts as anyone these days, and even if he doesn't know anything about an owners association he should be able to help with information.

Hi - we would be very interested - we have a Quest 31 and would love to be able to discuss and compare with other owners. And we want to do the French canals! Hope the proposal works,
