PROPS! Your fault!

Here was me sitting smug with my brand new Duo Props fitted 3 weeks ago, new found performance and economy. Then you all start mentioning damaged props and I think, hmm, never managed that I must be lucky...then what happens, I go out on Saturday, just a mile or so down river to fuel up for Sunday and BANG! I had more than 12 foot of water below me but something seems to have managed to get stuck between the port duo props, it made a bit of a thump nothig too bad but str8 after the dreaded vibration started! Fueled up and back to mooring to have a look and sue enough bot the port props are marked, no idea what it was but it has not dented the props so much as cut into them!

I wonder if there was an old post or stump that your depth guage wasn't picking up? Especially as you mentioned "river".

could have been I guess but it was the Itchen, so there is a good deep chanel, no idea, could have been anything I am just mightly miffed it hit my shiny new props! I guess I will have to send em off to somewhere like steel dev
