Proposed new tax on Diesel Cars - Boats next?

Tis reported that London's Mayor, as well as others, are advocating an extra tax in one form or another on Diesel cars entering the city limits, in an effort to reduce air pollution.

Can I ask? would this apply to Mobo's and other Craft with Diesel engines traveling the Thames corridor?

Definitely not, they would have to charge all the tourist trip boats and that wouldn't be popular.

Not if they targeted recreational craft only. Be difficult to enforce it unless we all have to have number plates front and rear
