I recently posted a question about the right size propellor for my LM 30 with BUKH 24 hp engine and received a number of very helpful replies. Thank you to all those who helped. I have finally discovered that my existing prop was the original 16 x11 intended for the original 20 hp Bukh. The new 24 hp with sail drive should have a 15x10 prop. I have sent the old original prop to Steel Developments to be repaired and resized at a cost including VAT and post of just over £50. Wish I had done this 2 months ago and saved the £250 the new 16x11 cost. I am learning but it seems so slowly.
